Mandarin oranges are familiar to Singaporeans as a fortune charm for Chinese New Year. The chrysanthemum flower on the label has the meaning of "nobility" which reflects the Mikan Sake elegant taste, just like the image of the chrysanthemum.
In order to bring out the original taste of the Japanese mandarin oranges, only the best mandarin fruit is selected and carefully extract and filtered, which transforms the fibrous product into an unique "thickening". It is then carefully blended to create the unique mikanshu, which retains the taste of the Japanese mandarin oranges.
It is best served chilled or on the rocks to enjoy its unique thickening effect.
